Day 12 - A perfect end to a perfect PDC

Strange sister wisdomWell dear reader - it's all over red rover, finished, kla, all done.  What a pleasure and a privilege to have been part of such a great group of people.  We were led and taught by passionate experts who gave of their time and energy so that as a group we left far more informed than when we arrived 12 days ago.  The hugs and kind words we shared with each other were as important as the Certificate we received.  Each on our own journey to a more sustainable future and so good to be be in the company of multi generational eco warriors.  I feel so much better mentally and physically than I did 2 weeks ago so it has been time well spent and I am back on the road again.  Going home to settle back with some new habits - definitely going to try a plant centered gluten free lifestyle.  Having had almost no animal protein I can't tell you how energetic I have felt every day.

Not sure I will miss the communal ablution facilities that much but other than that I manged quite well.  I have developed very dry and sore lips for some reasons and no amount of aloe vera has helped.  I was also given a bottle of German herbal drops for my sore neck and shoulder and it has made the hugest difference.  Thanks Marion.

Whilst I will miss my new friends  the person I will miss the most is the Gypsy Green Food Bus lady Tamika - being fed for 12 days was the best.  Tamika is compiling a Vegan cookbook due out later this year and I cant wait.  If you had her meals every day you would not know you were vegan!

Thanks for reading  - I will keep posting on the trip home but I am travelling quickly to get home by the weekend so it will not be as leisurely a journey as on the way up.

Goodbye Tamika and the food bus
