My birthday was in January but my BFF and I booked a date to suit 2 families with 9 people and we landed on 16/3. The very lovely Mitch and Sophie hosted pre-dinner cocktails at their oh so gorgeous apartment in South Yarra - ultra modern and views forever. Thanks guys, the Espresso Martinis and snacks were great. My besties - Tony, Thomson and Tiarnne joined in and it was great to have Mark there too.
We headed on to Cafe Republic for a lovely dinner and the best God-daughter ever - Maddie arrived fresh from a training session - you rock Mads - thanks for being there for me.
But the real hero of the story is Nadine - organizing everyone and everything just to make my day special. She baked a cake in a heart shape and bought me brand new Active Wear from a favourite brand - Lorna Jane. Can't wait to shape up and show off.

It is now only one sleep to go until me and my trusty car head for our Permaculture Adventure. Just finishing packing and just remembered the gardening gloves! I have 3 hats, 2 umbrellas ( it looks like being a bit wet), my own pillow and an apron just in case I need to get cooking.
