We left sunny Amsterdam on a perfect morning on the 8am train to Zurich via Frankfort. There was an 11 minute crossover between trains. Just made it. Very comfortable way to travel.
Made the rookie mistake of getting a taxi to our hotel - a 3km journey for $50 was a quick wake up that this is a high end city!!
We had a late tram ride to the old town with a sushi dinner sitting in a street side cafe -just lovely. The weather is warm and the living is easy!
