After a magic carpet ride on @ Singapore Air we arrived on time and moved through the airport at warp speed. Trained it in to the city and realised just how far 1.9 kms is to our hotel when wheeling a suitcase. Strange who knew!
Managed an early check in and then headed back to the city via the free ferry. Walked through the Royal Palace. Quite beautiful. Then onto the Oude Kerk and the New Kerk. Both amazing old churches. Wooden ceilings that looked like fresco ceilings but with wood.
lunched in the square and then walked and ferried back for a little sleep. Out for dinner @ Lowlander vegetarian restaurant and bar. Drinking lemongrass infused beer watching the canal barges. Too cool for school. Great first day.
