We were beyond fortunate to spend a day in Kew gardens. Such a vast expanse of green in this great city. We wandered around for hours enjoying the sights and sounds including Kew CastLe, kitchen gardens and a guided tour of the old kitchen.
We walked through the Princess of Wales exhibition rooms - all under cover - with plants from around the world on display.
We climbed up the Treetop Tower for the treetop walk and then strolled through the Redwood Forest - my happy place. We are finding the UK very pricey - at 2 to 1 everything seems way over the top.
We trained it home to another lovely home cooked meal by Gill.
